A little bit about me. 36 years ago I was at a crossroad. Do I continue becoming a Marriage and Family Counselor when I had just been accepted to the Masters Program, or follow one of my two passions in my life? Exotic Birds and Real Estate. While on summer break after receiving my Bachelors, I began to study for my Real Estate license exam and suddenly an opportunity came up to open a little Bird store in Cypress, Ca. I asked for a leave of absence from my Dean, stopped studying for Real Estate even though I was so excited about buying my first residence, and I asked my Dad for a loan to open Omar’s Exotic Birds. 36 years and 3 stores later, we’re still thriving with our wonderful staff of many years. By the way, my Dad was paid off within a year.
I never looked back at my Career not taken in Psychology, but realized that everything I learned led me to become a better person with my customers and learn how to listen and understand their needs and to solve their problems. All these years in Retail and dealing with customers who can either give you a good review or a bad one, has paid off. Ask anyone that owns Birds about our reputation. Now I have the opportunity to do for my Real Estate Clients what I have done for my Pet loving customers, whom many have become friends. Allowing me to represent you, I am confident that you will feel great satisfaction with my aggressive marketing approach and business experience, without a doubt exceeding all of your expectations.
